As we are thinking about our next projects for the year and I am looking at Donald Judd‘s work in Marfa. These interiors of of the Cobb House have a lot to learn from. The color of the walls to the furniture; the floor and parts of the paintings being the contrast or balance in the room. The paintings are really framed by the wall finish of tinted plaster and the scale is so interesting. He places small scale furniture in these smaller rooms to create that Judd-like sense of expanse…..
