The rhythm of Chairs and Buildings goes like this-every winter I dream of a garden, I look at beautiful epic English gardens and yearn for the ease of walking through a mature expression of this art form. Well, this year the Pearl Street yard is ready for action( last year in Starkville- we did pretty well).  The first step in a Maine garden is the Fedco catalog. This is a special publication that signals winter hibernation and contemplation. Complete with FDR’s Fireside chats published along with the tubers and trees, the Fedco catalog will be our primary guide to level of imagination that this garden will require.
