the fabrication

I have set a task for one of my classes that they are to write a brief that explains the invention (their invention) of a fabrication technique.  This work by young designer Jan Rose is the case in point. Not only has he invented a series of furniture that is knitted via steel and leather but he has invented the knitting machine!  This is the new condition in the design world. No longer are young designers victim to the furniture industry’s huge infrastructure.

Time to knit more than just a pouf, please……
