garden building

I have really loved my small garden at 205 Lafayette. When we did the renovation for the building the city required some sort of beautification to the back parking lot. By the time I got ready to do it I was teaching full out and a little idea-less. I actually hired two young designers Mark Wise who now teaches in Arkansas and Danny Wicke who has been teaching at the Rural Studio. They designed a fence, planter box, bench and more gracious entry into the apartment.  Birthday parties, BBQs and the event of the peach tree bearing copious amounts of fruit are my fondest memories.
