I have been spotting designers knitting or weaving their chairs recently and at ICFF that trend was slowly coming forward. The most innovative was the simple, clear work of Ryan Richardson of Nashville based DATA furniture. I love this simple response to hard edged modernism. And see his kids avanti chair-dualing sock puppets ready for battle…..
