Trace building

Caleb is going to take a break from Choices We Make and finish up some grading. We traveled to Nashville this past weekend via the glorious Natchez Trace. I don’t have pictures of the gold fields of buttercups or the turkeys and deer ambling across the road; but here is a snap of a house for a ferry operator, built in 1817. One of a handful of buildings left on the Trace it has a lovely dignified air.
